The Hwarang Youth Foundation is a volunteer service organization established with the goal to create future leaders for the betterment of society. Qualities of leadership are valued greatly, and how this foundation encourages individuals to achieve their leadership is what truly puts Hwarang above other volunteer service organizations. As our members continue to serve the community, I have observed that many individuals change and find themselves closer to becoming a true leader. Our foundation goes beyond the local communities and has passionate members in Korea, Philippines, Ukraine, Guatemala, El Salvador, Hawaii, Boston, and Northern California. Having the opportunity to connect and reach out to our members globally is a great honor, as I get to witness so many individuals passionately helping each other and to reach the ultimate goal: the betterment of our society.

SUMMIT CHAIRPERSON’S MESSAGE
Hello, my name is Madison Park and it is my great pleasure to introduce myself as the 2023 - 2024 Summit Chairperson of the Hwarang Youth Foundation. As the newly elected Summit Chairperson, I am honored to be the leader of such a talented group of individuals who share a common commitment to making our community a better place. Their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to this organization serve as an inspiration to us all. I am pleased to have the opportunity to recognize their contributions and to share their stories with you.
As we embark on this new chapter, I am filled with a sense of optimism and excitement. The Hwarang Youth Foundation has always stood as a beacon of hope and positive change in our community. It is my firm belief that together, we can continue to build upon this legacy and achieve even greater heights. Our shared dedication to service and empowerment will guide us as we navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
One of the key focuses for the upcoming year will be to further strengthen our engagement with the community. We are committed to listening to the voices of those we serve, understanding their needs, and working collaboratively to address them. By fostering open and transparent communication, we aim to build meaningful relationships that will enable us to have an even greater impact.
Empowering the youth has always been at the heart of our mission, and it will remain a top priority during my tenure as Summit Chairperson. I believe in the potential of our young leaders to effect positive change, and I am dedicated to providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive. Through mentorship programs, educational initiatives, and leadership development opportunities, we will continue to invest in the future of our community.
In addition, sustainability and environmental stewardship will be central themes in our efforts moving forward. We recognize the importance of preserving our planet for future generations, and we are committed to taking meaningful action to reduce our environmental footprint. By implementing eco-friendly practices and promoting environmental awareness, we can contribute to a healthier and more sustainable world.
None of our endeavors would be possible without the unwavering support of our dedicated volunteers, partners, and supporters. Their generosity and commitment have been instrumental in driving the success of our initiatives, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. I look forward to further cultivating these important relationships and to welcoming new collaborators into our ever-growing network.
I am deeply honored to serve as the 2023 - 2024 Summit Chairperson of the Hwarang Youth Foundation. Together, we have the opportunity to shape a future that is brighter and more inclusive for all. I am eager to work alongside each and every one of you as we continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we touch.
