April 23rd is a special day. It marks the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, China. To commemorate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Provisional Government and to honor the dreams of independence and democratic aspirations held by Korean ancestors, Hwarang executives and members attended the ceremony held at the Korean United Methodist Church.
Under the theme "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow with the Next Generation," the event provided an opportunity to learn about the historical context of the Provisional Government's inception and its impact on the future of South Korea. Through presentations, videos, and performances, participants celebrated the influence of the Provisional Government. The event allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of our history, filled with challenges and determination.
