Congressman Gomez’s Summer Town Hall

On July 10th, 2023, Congressman Gomez invited members of the Hwarang Youth Foundation to a summer Town Hall meeting located in Little Tokyo Los Angeles. There, he discussed his future plans for the city and how certain agendas would be completed. The crowd was filled with various volunteer organizations and devoted Los Angeles citizens eager to learn more about Congressman Gomez’s plans. Our members were given the opportunity to ask questions personally answered by the congressman. These types of questions included…

  • How can nonprofit organizations easily spread the message of their services?

  • What are some services that nonprofits can supply to the city of Los Angeles?

Congressman Gomez answered each and every one of our members’ questions without hesitation. This town hall gave the members a comprehensive understanding of what the leadership in Los Angeles plan to do with their position. This event was a great way to kick off the new Hwarang term, as many of our newly elected officers got to participate and ask questions! Although it was a bit sunny that day, our members were able to learn much from the congressman and new friendships and bonds were created with the other non-profit organizations present at the event
